Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), founded in 1956, a prestigious university in China, has been well-known for its leading subjects traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese Materia Medica. Since its inception, BUCM has been listed under the Project 211, a project designed for prioritizing development of about 100 colleges and universities and a host of key disciplines for the 21st century. Since 2011, it has been listed under the Project 985, a major decision made by CPC and the State Council on building first-class universities of the international standard at the turn of the century. Since 2017, its three disciplines have been listed under China’s “Double-First Rate” initiative (world-class universities and first-class disciplines), specifically Chinese Medicine, Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica. The university now has three campuses – the Hepingjie Campus, the Wangjing Campus and the Liangxiang Campus. Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to China Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
