The Non-degree in General Visiting Students at
Tongji University (TongJU)

program for international students,
taught in English.
📖Introduction
Tongji University is one of the leading universities in China under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, listed on “Project 985” and “Project 211”. With a history of over a century, Tongji has valued the balanced development of four functions, i.e. education, research, outreach, and culture inheritance and innovation.
According to 2019 Global Universities Rankings by US News & World Report, Tongji University ranks 11th in the Country Rank of China and 35th in Best Global Universities in Asia.
General visiting students can join in the majors of Undergraduate or Master’s programs.
A non-degree certificate of advanced study will be awarded if the visiting student successfully finishes his/her study at Tongji University. Official transcripts are also available upon request.
Qualification: At least one-year study at college or higher, pursuing an original or related major study of a certain subject.
Expenses
Tuition: RMB 1230/credit (Senior) ; at least pay 8 credit fee/semester
Insurance fee: RMB 800/Year

🏠 Accommodation
The International Students Service Centers is located on three campuses of Tongji University independently. They are all facilitated with telephone sets, toilets, showers, air-conditioning, public kitchens, classrooms, and business services such as duplication, fax and e-mail sending, typing and air-ticket and train ticket booking are offered.

You will need to book the accommodation after you have been accepted.
You can choose to live on campus or off campus in private accommodation.

Preparing documents:
You can start your application now and send the application
documents
during
your application. Some documents you can

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information
is

here.
The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application
fee and
upload
the application documents.
Once submitted to China Admissions, we will review your
application within
2-3
days and proceed to the university or ask
you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive
your unique
application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates.
As soon as
there is any update we will let you know.
If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
