Question: Q: When will the new HSK 3.0 (9 bands) will be applied in Chinese universities? I will graduate from 1 Chinese university next year and follow graduation requirements from my university, I have to get certificate of level 3 (HSK3) in the new HSK 3.0 system (which includes HSK1 to HSK9). But in my country (Vietnam) now, the new HSK system hasn't been organized, just follow HSK 2.0 (which includes HSK1 to HSK 6 and HSKK). How will I deal with this problem?
    Answer: A:
I think you won't need to worry, the existing HSK will still apply for entry requirements. Universities normally need HSK 4, 5 or 6 to get accepted. They are adding 3 more levels to the existing HSK, and the current HSK will be getting a bit harder. The reasons for the changes is that HSK is too easy right now so it would be better for you to take HSK sooner because it will get harder later.  by Richard - China Admissions on October 22, 2021

Question: Q: I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering in India and I am in 1st year. Can I take transfer to Chinese Universities like Tsinghua University or NPU in 2022 and continue my 2nd year in China? If possible, then what will be the procedure and how will China admissions help me with the procedure?
    Answer: A:

It can be quite challenging to transfer. You can read here more about how to transfer to a Chinese university here. If you would be willing to start again from year 1 we suggest you apply as a new student and we can request if your credits from the first year can be approved but we believe it will be unlikely.
