What the Scholarship Includes
The Xi'an City "The Belt and Road" international students scholarship offers full and partial scholarships that cover 50% or full tuition fees and a yearly living allowance of up to RMB 25000.
The supporting categories are as follows:
(1) Undergraduate Program:
First Prize: 100% tuition fee+15000 CNY/Year (Living Allowance)
Second Prize: 50% tuition fee+15000 CNY/Year(Living Allowance)
Third Prize: 15000 CNY/Year(Living Allowance)
(2) Master Program:100% tuition fee+20000 CNY/Year(Living Allowance)
(3) Ph.D. Program:100% tuition fee+25000 CNY/Year(Living Allowance)
(4) Chinese Language Program:10000CNY/Year(Living Allowance)
Who is the scholarship for?
This scholarship is open for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Chinese language students who are citizens of a country from “The Belt and Road Initiative”.
All candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:
A) Undergraduate Scholarship Application Conditions
1)Applicants should comply with Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and habits and abide by the regulations and disciplines of the NPU.
2)Be a citizen of a country from “The Belt and Road Initiative”, in good physical and mental health;
P.S. Applicants must hold a valid passport or valid certificate for at least 4 years and have a two-year record of residence in their country in recent 4 years.
3)Aged between 18 and 30 years old (by September 1, 2020);
For the applicants under 18, please bring the relevant supporting documents (Notarized Certificate of guardian in China) to the official registration.
4)Applicants should have good academic marks(see the table below for details)
5)Certificate of English or Chinese Proficiency Level (depends on the language medium ): HSK, TOFEL, IELTS, or GRE, etc,
B) Postgraduate Scholarship Application Conditions
1)Applicants should comply with Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and habits and abide by the regulations and disciplines of the NPU.
2)Be a citizen of a country from “The Belt and Road Initiative”, in good physical and mental health;
P.S. Applicants must hold a valid passport or valid certificate for at least 4 years and have a two-year record of residence in their country in recent 4 years.
3) Those who apply for a master's degree in China must have a bachelor's degree. The age of applicants is not more than 35 years old. Those who come to China for a doctoral degree must have a master's degree. In principle, they must be no more than 40 years old and in good health condition.
4) Applicants should have a strong capacity in scientific research
5)pplicants should have good academic marks. GPA from previous (latest) school must be:
3.0 or above (out of 4.0);
3.75 or above (out of 5.0);
75 or above (out of 100):
