A master's degree is a graduate academic degree awarded by Chinese colleges and universities upon completion of a course of study usually lasting two years. Many universities also offer part-time master's programs which offer more flexibility but can take longer than two years. Foreign students who pursue master's studies in China can choose from English or Chinese-taught programs.
Completing a master's program enables you to work in managerial or supervisory positions. A master's degree is required if you pursue doctoral or PhD studies. This degree comes in many forms such as Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MS) and Master of Professional Studies (MPS).
