Kunming is the capital of Yunnan Province. It is named as 'the City of Eternal Spring' for its pleasant climate and flowers that bloom all year long.
Kunming is a history of 2,400 years, and is the gateway to the celebrated Silk Road. Today, it is the provincial political, economical and cultural center of Yunnan and the most famous tourist destination in southwest China. Approximately 26 ethnic minorities such as Yi, Bai, Miao, Dai, and Hani live in this region.
