About Studying Medicine in China

A medicine or MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree in China is six-year degree program that trains you to be a competent medical doctor.

This degree will teach you about basic medical sciences, behavioral science, humanities, social science and medical ethics, preventive medicine and clinical medicine. You will also learn about traditional Chinese medicine and natural science. During the last two years of the MBBS program, you will attend internships in top hospitals.

To become a fully-fledged doctor of medicine in China, you need to pass the National Medical Licensure Examination.

About Studying PhD in China

A doctoral degree otherwise known as Ph.D. is the highest form of degree program that one can complete. Enrollment into a doctoral degree program requires you to hold a master’s degree. Obtaining this type of degree can take four to six years. Ph.D. graduates work as experts in areas of business or research.

The most common types of doctoral degrees include: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Juris Doctor (J.D.), Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
