🏫 About Lanzhou Jiaotong University (LZJTU)

Lanzhou Jiaotong University is located in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province and an important node city of the "Belt and Road". It is a university jointly established by China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. and the Gansu Provincial People's Government. The Ministry of Education's "Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform Demonstration School", the Ministry of Education's "Central and Western Education Revitalization Plan" supports colleges and universities, and Gansu Province's high-level universities and "first-class disciplines" build colleges and universities. The school currently has 2 campuses, covering an area of 1,564 acres, with a school building area of 887,400 square meters and a library collection of 2.27 million volumes. There are 21 directly affiliated colleges (departments) and 1 national university science and technology park. There are 31,200 full-time students, including 22,000 undergraduates, 6,123 graduate students, 2,288 vocational students, and 385 international students. Over the years, school graduates have always maintained a high employment rate. Among the graduates, the proportion of contracting state-owned enterprises remained above 75%, and about 45% of the students signed contracts with Fortune 500 companies such as China Railway, China Railway Construction, and China Communications Construction. The employment quality of graduates ranks among the top universities in the province. The school has a large number of talent training bases such as the National Language and Character Promotion Base, the National Railway Science Popularization Base, the Ministry of Education's Cultural Heritage Base, the Ministry of Railways' Continuing Education Western Base and the Northwest Region Small Language Training Base. There are currently 68 undergraduate enrollment majors. There are 6 national characteristic professional construction sites, 1 national comprehensive reform pilot program, and 19 majors have been approved as national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites (vehicle engineering, electrical engineering and automation, rail transit signal and control, communication engineering, computer Science and Technology, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, Transportation, Logistics Management, English, Geographic Information Science, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Electronic Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Railway Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Engineering, Traffic Engineering), 5 courses have been approved as national first-class undergraduate courses (EMU Vehicle Construction and Design, Engineering Drawing, Water Quality Engineering II, University Computer Foundation 1, Data and Scene-driven High-speed Train Operation Control Virtualization Simulation).

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to China Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
