Established in 1958,Shanxi Normal University (SXNU),is a renowned provincial university. Its campus is located inTaiyuan, the southern region of Shanxi Province.The university consists of 22 schools and offers 61 undergraduate programs, 23 graduate disciplines,2 doctorate disciplines and 2 post-doctoral mobile stations. Currently there are 16669 full-time undergraduate students and 3550 graduate students. And there are 1284 full-time lecturers, among whom 10 are winners of national academic awards and 88 are winners of provincial academic honors. Being committed to its global vision, the university maintains collaborative relations with more than 50 international universities and research institutions. With a history of recruiting and cultivating international students for over 20 years, the university has in total more than 500 international students from Asia, Europe, Africa and other places to study here. All the courses offered at the university are open to international students. And, all the study facilities and well-equipped accommodations are available to the students. Since 2016, the university has established scholarships for international students in all academic and non-academic programs.   • Make a booking online after you have been accepted (in this case please let us know your choice when you apply).
  • Register when you arrive - its not possible to reserve a room before arriving. You can arrive a few days before and book it

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to China Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
