Changchun University of Science and Technology was founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1958. The scientist and academician, Mr. Wang Dazhao was the founder and first dean of the university. Since its founding, the university has been affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of Machinery, Machinery, Electrical, and Mechanical Services, and the General Corporation of Weapons Industry.

Changchun University of Science and Technology (CUST) is located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. Changchun is situated in the center part of Northeast China. Changchun city is well-developed, open, quiet and beautiful. It is often dubbed the as the "Spring City of Northland ". Besides this, the media calls it the most friendly city in China because of its warm and helpful people.
Changchun city is the center of the auto, film, optics, biological pharmaceuticals and the rail car industry in China. It is popularly called the "City of Automobile ". It's also a great city to study Chinese as most of its citizens speak standard Mandarin in terms of accent and intonation. Most of all, the cost of living is fairly low, which makes it an ideal place for international students.

If you're an international student, you can stay in the International Education and Exchange Center. You can choose from a single or double room. All rooms are fully furnished with complete facilities such as a bed, bookshelf, chair, study desk, shower, TV, fridge, and internet connection.
The accommodation hall has a public kitchen on each floor. The 10th floor has a laundry area while the 13th floor has a gym which is free for overseas students. The dorm also has 24-hours security surveillance
Staying in the International Education and Exchange Center residence is a great way to meet new people and create lasting friendships.

The minimum age is 18 and the maximum age is 35.
English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied a degree in English before
- Can demonstrate a high level of English
- Having an English certificate such as IELTS level 6 or TOEFL 95 and above is an advantage.
Minimum education level: Bachelor's.
The program is quite competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average B, 60%, or a high GPA.

Application process:

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.
Once submitted to China Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
