Inner Mongolia Agricultural University is a multi-disciplinary university focusing on agriculture and forestry and focusing on grassland animal husbandry. Historical evolution In 1952, the former Hebei Agricultural College, Pingyuan Agricultural College's Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and Shanxi Agricultural College's veterinary professional reorganization system moved to Guisui (now Hohhot), forming the first undergraduate higher school in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region - Inner Mongolia Animal Husbandry and Veterinary College .
