Situated in Xi’an, a famous ancient city in China, Xijing University is a regular privately-run undergraduate higher learning institution and unit engaged in the building of “first-rate schools” in Shaanxi province. Established in 1994, the university was designated as a regular undergraduate higher learning institution in 2005. In 2009, the university was qualified for granting bachelor’s degree. In 2010, it became the first private higher learning institution across the country that passed the undergraduate school-running assessment by the Ministry of Education.
